Searching for a TV

By sunset On February 13th, 2009

Last weekend I went to my sister’s and she had no TV, it was broken and she doesn’t have any other TV. Has she told me she wanted to buy a good but not too expensive one I’m searching for Tv deals that I think she might enjoy. They have a lot of expenses with my nephew and all she cannot spend a lot of money. I believe my own TV was a good deal because it’s a big LCD and it was not of the most expensive ones, but now there are some similar to mine at a lower price and that’s it I’m trying to find her.

My life is a mess

By sunset On February 13th, 2009

I’m in my final but most difficult part of my MBA, it’s thesis time!!! I think I should have started worked in it already but I can’t find the time to do it. I’ll finish teaching a subject in a Technical course by the beginning of march and a start another one the following week, so time is short since It’s a new subject and I have to prepare all the classes form start. I need to take a day or two to go to the university to have a meeting with my thesis coordinator, I have one already but I haven’t meet her yet, but has the university where she teaches is too far I haven’t took the time to do it. It’s the first time I’m going there and I think I could use a GPS to help me getting there. I don’t know how many times I have to go there but the first time is always the more difficult one. Well summing up I must say my life is a full mess with lots of work, no money and no time for myself or Angel!!

Smart Shopping

By sunset On February 13th, 2009
  • Rethink your purchases – only buy what you really need.
  • Avoid excessive packaging, try to buy items with recycled packaging.
  • Say NO to plastic shopping bags – use cardboard boxes or cloth bags.
  • Buying bulk is often cheaper – don’t always buy single serve products.
  • Buy reusable items instead of disposable products such as plastic and paper plates.
  • Choose products with recycled content, such as recycled paper.

I miss Spring Time

By sunset On February 13th, 2009

I miss Spring,  the sunny Days, the longer days when  the sun shines and warms our body and soul… we can see the beautiful Flowering trees, the green of plants, the red of roses, the yellow all over the gardens. I miss the colors that spring gives us. I’m tired of winter rainy and freezing days.

I miss waking up with the sun in my eyes and with birds singing near my window… Spring, please come fast…

I’ve been visiting some sites trying to find a perfect solution to lose weight. Of course this does not exists but we can read a lot and get informed about the best way to lose weight or to be in shape. I heard someone recently talking about a product that, according to their saying, was really good and helped burning fat together with some exercise. It is called Lipovox. I searched it in the internet and it seems that makes you body burn fats more quickly than some other diet pills. In the web page it also mentioned that its good as well as for people who have acne problems and for wrinkles treatment too. It seemed really interesting…

Thanks to Internet

The other day I was having a conversation with some colleagues and some of them are engineers and were talking about work technology. They introduced the subject of linear motion and I was wondering what they were talking about. When I asked one said to me: “Everyone knows what linear motion is”. And I said everyone but me, and I asked him to explain me.

Can you imagine that he tried to explain me two or three times and I got the feeling that he didn’t know what he was really talking about. BUT of course everyone knows what it is. By the end of the day I did my online search to find out what it was and then I was able to understand it correctly. I found out an explanation in Wikipedia saying: “Linear motion is motion along a straight line, and can therefore be described mathematically using only one spatial dimension. It can be uniform, that is, with constant speed, or non-uniform, that is, with a variable speed. The motion of a particle (a point-like object) along the line can be described by its position x, which varies with t (time).”

Finally I knew what it was thanks to the internet. That’s why I just love internet and I don’t know how we lived that long with it.

I would love to have a pet

By sunset On February 11th, 2009

I love pets and If I had a house, not an apartment, I would love to have two dogs, a small one and a big one. I have a friend that although she lives in an apartment she decided to have a dog. Every time I’m with him I think I also would like to have one. They treat him like a child… they went to see pet beds to try to find the most suitable, they bought them lots of dog clothes, toys, fancy food and lots of other things. That dog is really treated like a baby, but I’m sure if I had my own pet before having a baby I would do the same.

That cold that feels good

By sunset On February 11th, 2009

Those cold days do not oblige anyone to stay at home. It can become a good opportunity to enjoy a holiday season in a cultural week-end (and consumer) in any European capital, a refreshing stroll through the camp, a week in the ski  Alps - or why not? - A cruise on the Nile.

The winter has long ceased to be synonymous of lazy days in front of the fireplace. The snow has become the faithful companion of good sportsmen and people who enjoy living, which found in the White Mountains several multiple excuses to have fun and keep in shape.

Mountain-skiing tourism is a fine possibility to receive a huge charge of positive emotions and spend time perfectly.

You can rest and relax, or you can chose to be active all day on the fresh winter air and simultaneously have the possibility to learn skiing or snowboarding. I went skiing twice to a sky resort and I loved it. I would like to do that again but unfortunately the money is not enough but I can tell you… it’s a wonderful experience.
