Since I’m working in my agency I don’t use much my home laptop. Yesterday I needed to do some research at home and I had to work with it. I realized that it is much slower than I remember, I don’t know if it is because presently I use computer with a ddr3 memory or if it is my laptop that is staying slower.
Technology is a great think, and we never get enough of new and improved products.
Stress may be good and may be bad… we never know how we are going to react to stress. I’ve been under a lot of pressure with my new work. My agency is now opened and I have a lot of new things I have to know and study. It’s more work than I could imagine the first place and I’m still trying to learn it all. I believe this week I don’t need any diet pills to loose weight, I can’t eat properly because I’m not hungry and what I eat does not taste good. So I can say that stress may be good but only for a short period of time.
I can work fairly good under stress but I cannot work properly if it lasts longer than it should last. I’m hoping my business goes well and I can organize myself with my own time.
One of the things I feel good doing when I’m under stress is gymnastics, but I’m afraid I don’t really have the time now but I want to start going to a gym on a regular basis to release stress.
Last month I went to bought my agency furniture. I went to a big warehouse where we can buy cheaper but we have to carry it all ourselves,. As that warehouse is in a different city I’ve been searching cross country moving companies to help me bringing my furniture and I have to say that these companies are really expensive. I went to search in the net and I found out that Portugal is one of the country with more expensive moving companies. I couldn’t believe that in a small country like Portugal, we would have to pay twice as much for a smaller trajectory to a moving companies deliver us our furniture. I decided to loan a van from a friend and although I was more tiring it also was cheaper.
I have been having construction works in my space because it is a bit old and I must say that we need to rebuild always more than what we expected in the first place. I spend much more money than the budget I was given. It was the first time I needed to carry out a construction work but I’ve learned the hard ways that we must be present at all time or else the work is a mess and not professional at all. After learning that me and angel tried to do some work on our own and we went to buy industrial equipment to do some of the work and it stay cheaper and better done. Sometimes I must agree with those that say that if we want something well done we must do it ourselves.
I’m trying to have a money loan to start my business and I must say it’s not an easy task. Nowadays they have lots of rules and don’t loan money easily and besides that they still need us to have lots of products like insurances and credit cards. I have to make a life insure and not a cheap one. When I was told I found it too expensive for a life insurance and I went to check the term life insurance quotes online to see if the price matched. And I was surprise and I realized it was a bit cheaper but unfortunately I cannot make it online because it has to be made together with the loan, so, as I need the loan, I have to stick with the more expensive insurance.

Has I’m still closed I try to use my free time researching for offers and sites related to travel, to flights and to hotels. I have a friend that is going to get married in October and wants to go or to US or to Cambodia and I’m trying to find what place is best for her and what can she enjoy in either place. I found a reservation site of an hotel chain called Westgate that seemed very interesting. There I could find all the hotels in US they have as well as the description of the city or region with the interesting attractions nearby. This is really useful for me because I need to give as much information as I can to my clients regarding the place they want to choose and I need help of sites like this. I must say Internet was the greatest work tool ever created.
I’m going to be a made of honor in a couple of weeks and I’m still considering taking some diet pill. Some weeks ago I lost one or two kilos because I was under lots of stress. I’m still under stress but now I’m dealing with it in a different way and I think I gain more than two kilos. Next week I’m going to try my made of honor dress and after that I decided whether I need to lose weight or not.
Sometimes when I’m under stress I cannot put anything into my stomach but then there are other times that with stress I spend most of my time eating, so, if I have to be under stress I definitely prefer not to feel the need to eat.
It’s time to go on a vacation but not for me. I have my new business and little time to do anything.
A few month ago I decided that I wanted to open my own business and do something I really enjoy. So after some time figuring out if i really should do it I decided to go for it. I?m going to open a travel agency and work for myself. It’s a long dated dream and it is being really difficult to put in practice! Lots of trouble, lots of paperwork, lots of licenses and lots of money that I don’t have. It’s not easy but I’m almost there. Should have opened a couple of months ago because it was when people started to book their vacation but I couldn’t and not because I didn’t wanted. Now I have my own space ready, most of my friends know and some of them have already asked me to try to find vacation for them but as I’m not opened yet I can only see the prices, the option and advise them what may be best for them, but I cannot sell. I have some friends asking me to advise them regarding Orlando vacations, Dominican republic, turkey and some other vacations destinations. I have been stressed out over this but it’s not in my hands and I can do no more than I have been doing. I hope that in a couple of weeks or so I could have this functioning properly and than I can start writing some vacation articles in my blog.
