There is still no treatment that can cure, definitely, rheumatoid arthritis. However, there are treatments that can improve the ability to perform daily activities and well-being of patients by reducing inflammation, relieving pain and reducing joint damage. These range from simple measures to relieve the symptoms, non pharmacological therapies and use of drugs with complex mechanisms of action. Although treatment for rheumatoid arthritis is not always effective some of them have been have to considerably improve life quality of patients.
